Safe Families

Safe Families for Children is a volunteer driven movement that seeks to step in and help vulnerable families before outside services are necessary or something negative happens. Families within the church host children in their home on a short term basis while their parents are working toward goals to maintain a stable environment. A few examples of situations in which Safe Families often comes alongside families include homelessness, unemployment, illness, and addiction recovery. It is a voluntary program (meaning it is the parents choice to participate!) and keeping children safe and families intact is the heart of it.
